As of now, Parkettes has 9 extremely talented elite gymnasts, 8 of them are international elite- Nicole, Kristal, Tia, Krista, Kim, Lou, Annie, and Kristina. Paige Cipolloni is a national elite gymnast.
Kristal Uzelac- A name you should be very familiar with by now! Kristal is the 3 time US Junior National Champion. She also finished 3rd at the American Cup in 2001. In 2002, Kristal turned 16, which made her age eligible for senior elite and she finished 3rd at the US Classic. Unfortunatly, she broke her toe at Nationals and only competed bars on Day 2 but is looking for much success next year!
Tia Orlando- Tia just turned junior international elite last year but boy is she improving quickly! Tia is known for her amazing power on events like floor and vault where she can do skills such as yurchenko doubles and double layouts with ease. She finished 6th all-around at Junior Nationals in 2001 and started off the 2002 season with a bang by winning the 2002 Parkette Invitational. Tia also finished 6th at the US Classic and 4th at Nationals.
Krista Jasper- Krista has only been doing gymnastics a little more than two years but she is already a junior international elite gymnast at the age of 12. She is an extremely talented gymnast with an eye-catching floor routine and incredible skills. The future looks very promising for this gymnast! Krista finished 2nd at the Parkette Invitational this year and won the all-around at the Dragon Invitational. She qualified to Nationals at the American Classic and finished 8th all-around at the US Classic.
Annie Fogerty- Another young but very accomplished gymnast from Parkettes! Last year, Annie was the 2001 Level 10 PA State Champion. She advanced to the national elite level in June and won the National Gymfest shortly after! Now, Annie has improved even more and has moved up to the junior international elite level. She qualified to the National Championships this year and made the Junior National Team.
Geralen Stack-Eaton- Geralen, also known as Lou, just moved to Parkettes last year but she has flourished there! Lou is a very fast and powerful gymnast on vaulting, tumbling, and even bars and is also an amazing competitor on balance beam. She performs very difficult skills with ease and poise, making everything look effortless! Lou is now a junior international elite gymnast. She qualified to National Championships and finished in the top 20 at the US Classic.
Kristina Coccia- Kristina, known to many by the nickname "Sharky," is a great gymnast, also training alongside Nicole. Sharky was a level 10 last year and moved up to junior national elite in June, finishing 4th at the National Gymfest a month later. Now, Sharky qualified to the junior international elite level. Unfortunatly, she did not make it to Nationals this year but Sharky is back in the gym and working hard for next season!
Paige Cipolloni- Paige competed as a level 10 last year. She is the 2001 PA Level 10 Floor Exercise Champion and also qualifed to Regional Championships as well, having a successful performance there. Paige worked hard through the summer and fall and in February tested for national elite and made it! Paige is too young to test for international elite this year but she hopes to someday compete all over the world in competitions.
Kim Loew- Kim has been plagued by injuries, missing the 2001 Gymfest and early meets in 2002. Kim has yet to show her true potential but she definetely will in the near future! Kim is a hard working and dedicated 14 year old with a lot of goals to accomplish. She is a crowd pleaser on floor exercise and does some amazing skills on the other events as well. Kim qualified to junior international elite in March 2002 and is very excited about her acheivment.
